I am a butterfly, my heart on my wings
I follow my heart, hear the wind as it sings.
Be my friend, know my love and you will find
no better kindness , in sight or mind.
I will cling to your sleeve take me where you will.
Yet, be gentile please as my thoughts I spill.
You can learn from my travels, ere the wind doth blow.
If you will but listen my knowledge you’ll know.
I am a butterfly, tell me what you will know.
Or I’ll follow the wind, and you can watch as I go.
I am not a poet but I wanna learn. I love the artists’ life, and taking part in this blogging experience has opened new worlds. Please be kind. 🙂 I am open to suggestion
This painting is a flip cup pour on an album with blown flowers. After it dried I applied skins that were cut in the shapes of butterfly wings, then added the body. I hope to apply clock works. and she will be available for purchase if anyone has interest.
Hope you enjoy! Comments are encouraged.

I love fall, my birthday is in November and I sometimes feel a spiritual connection to the season. Autumn…. The years last, loveliest smile. William Cullen Bryant.
I enjoyed the process of this painting, developing in layers. Look closely to see all the little details. I love the feeling of abstract reality. There are several Acrylic Pour techniques applied to bring it all together. If you are a fan of the process, please leave a comment. I have hopes to set up some tutorials within my blog in the future.
My post yesterday gave me some frustration. I think I waited just a little too late to post. I was on the phone with my daughter and she said I sounded really tired. She thought maybe I should wait to post till today. But I am addicted to blogging and went ahead and posted. So many things went wrong and I didn’t find them till this morning. It took a little while to repair my damage but I think its better today. Thank you for sticking around for more.
I welcome any suggestions for future paintings. Love the challenge of seeing if I can create my own version of the world around me with the pouring process.
